Simple UID cards and MIFARE Classic can be copied in seconds with freely available devices. That is why Bausicht relies on MIFARE DESFire EV3, the current industry standard for high-security contactless access cards.

AES-128 encryption
All data between card and reader is transmitted AES-encrypted. The same standard is also used in banking.

Every card receives a unique AES key. Secure Access Modules (EAL5+) protect the master keys.

Printing only happens once all of the worker's documents have been approved, so no one without complete documentation receives a badge.

A construction site ID card costs 4 € per piece including sleeve and clip. The badges can be ordered in steps of 100 and are only available for purchase. In the price calculator you put together your individual configuration.
No. Bausicht relies on MIFARE DESFire EV3 with AES-128 encryption. Every card receives a unique, card-specific AES key; Secure Access Modules (EAL5+) protect the master keys. Simple UID cards and MIFARE Classic, by contrast, are insecure and can be copied with freely available devices.

Yes, with the printer set you print badges directly in the site office or container. It includes a high-quality construction site ID card printer, 2x color ribbons, a cleaning kit and a USB card reader. The printer connects via USB; Bausicht runs entirely in the browser, so apart from the printer driver nothing needs to be installed. New workers receive their personalized badge in a matter of minutes.
You take the profile photo directly in the Bausicht interface, either with the laptop webcam or an external camera. No separate photo software is needed.
Yes. Workers, including their badges, can be transferred to new construction sites. For security reasons, transferred badges are initially blocked there and are unblocked once. This works remotely, without the person having to come by in person.
For spontaneous visitors there are reusable, pre-printed visitor and day passes. They are assigned in the portal to a person, company and time, with an expiry date if desired. After the badge is returned, the assignment ends; the history is kept for reports.
The badges work with all Bausicht hardware: turnstile, barrier, registration pillar and time clock. Your own turnstiles and barriers can usually be connected as well. Find out more at Retrofitting your own hardware.
